How our plans do change.

Today we drove to meet up with other homeschoolers for an open gym.  Didn't go so well so we left early.

So we decided to go to the Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals instead.  C.G. loves horses. This was a perfect opportunity for her to see and touch one. We met with a lady named Becky,  she was very helpful.  CG and SA walked around and saw the different sizes, we also discussed the body language of  horses. We learned about why the horses would be brough tare there. Overall it was a nice change of plans, and the kids learned and had fun. 

Orchestra

We went to the Orchestra today.  The kids enjoyed it.  Of course the conductor was fun to watch.  The theme was Planets.

Solar System

We will be starting the Solar System this week.  We have lots of fun activities planned.

Post Card Swap

Today we received our first post card. It was from Alaska. The kids are so excited!
